It didn't disappear without trace - this was the homepage of the Cycle Services 2000 online bike shop and underground workshop. (2000-2005) These days, this section is just here for the purposes of completing the archive - I'm not really selling new stuff or fixing bikes anymore, so see Oli for that kind of madcore action.

Workshop The Mk II CS workshop is a custom built specialist cycle repair shop. Still as purple as ever, it has all the tools that the original Cuba St shop had and more, and is located in Kilbirnie, 5 minutes drive from Wellington. Repairs Most of the repair work I do these days is servicing XC and freeride mountain bikes, with the occasional wheelbuild. I keep most frequently used spare parts, accessories and spoke sizes in stock. Any other replacement parts can generally be ordered in overnight. Outwork As well as all the usual repair work, CS2000 can also outsource frame repairs, machining, powder coating, world class custom frame painting and frame building Workshop Hours The CS2000 workshop is strictly sifters hours only, so best to email me! I don't know what time is lunch, so don't email too early. Pure Filth While I don't like to work on muddy or excessively dirty bikes, it's no stress - if your bike is dirty, it can be cleaned first as part of the service, and it generally only takes about 15 minutes extra. Quality Parts All the consumables (oil, grease, cables, etc) used at CS2000 are top quality, as replacement parts and accessories are chosen based on what is best quality for the price (rather than what is going cheap in bulk!) so that your bike will run better than new. Overseas Mail Ordered Parts Fitting mail ordered parts is not a problem at CS2000. It's true a lot of stuff is cheaper from overseas! If you are going internet shopping, as a general rule, European made stuff is cheapest out of London, and USA made is cheapest out of Los Angeles. But the freight costs are often expensive and many Asian made goods are very competitively priced from within NZ, so check first. Internet Orders CS2000 is not really a "mail order" business and we don't seek to gain business by offering "cheap deals". Nevertheless, we do get a few internet enquiries (especially for the second hand goods) and we are happy to courier items. Freight Costs
