Auckland Orienteering Association Championships
30/31 October 2004

There was a Hawke's Bay contigent at the AOA Champs held on Celebre in Woodhill Forest, north of Auckland. Those who competed faced the tough decision of deciding to run in the champs or to run in the final OY of the year. The weather was excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. The forest was generally open and fast, but at the same time typical woodhill technicality. On the Saturday the middle distance event was held, followed by the classic distance event on Sunday.
