The following is a list of clergy I have come across in my own research (it is not a complete list of Cronin clergy). If anyone can add to the list please click the 'feedback' link above.

  • Rev Cronin: Address listed in County & City of Cork Post Office General Directory 1842 - 1843 as Ardfield, Clonakilty.
  • Rev Edmund Cronin: of Co. Chester, died May 5, 1910. He left an estate in Ireland of 176 the executor of which was the Rev. Timothy Cronin.
  • Rev. Jeremiah (Darby) Cronin: Parish Priest of Cratloe, co. Limerick 1802-1807.
  • Rev. John Augustine Cronin: St Georges St, Limerick 1832.
  • Rev. John Cronin: address listed in the subscriber's list to Samuel Lewis (1837) as Clondrohid.
  • Rev. John Cronin: in 1852 held 10 acres in the parish of Clonfert.
  • Rev. John Cronin: Parish Priest of Lisgoold from 1854 until his death on January 3, 1886.
  • Rev. Maurice Cronin: Parish Priest of Glenflesk, co Kerry from late 18th century until c 1806, he is buried in Killaha churchyard.
  • Rev. Michael Cronin: curate in Clonmult (parish of Imogeely) in 1833, transferred to Clondrohid outside Macroom in 1836. Promoted to Parish Priest in Clondrohid, 1839, died March 2, 1841, buried in Garrycloyne Cemetery near Blarney. The inscription on the headstone is in Latin and he left 500 in his will to Macroom Parish.
  • Rev. Patrick David Cronin: ordained June 20, 1900; served in Lanarkshire, Scotland 1900-06 before returning to Cork as curate at Rockchapel, Abbeyfeale 1906-12; Clogroe (parish of Inniscarra) 1912-18; Glanworth 1918-22; Banteer 1922-31; and in 1931 to Fornaught in the parish of Donoughmore where he died August 16, 1940. Buried in the grounds of Conna Church.
  • Rev. Thomas Cronin: appointed curate at Killeagh, 1876, promoted to Parish Priest 1877, died March 16, 1885.
