The white heron was so infrequently seen by the Maori people that
it was used in a proverb to describe a visitor who comes only rarely:
HE KOTUKU RERENGA TAHI I TE TAU.
Model 4 has a wingspan of 850 mm. The wings are curved and made
from 7 mm tanalised ply. There are two versions for outdoor use. The ply
can be left natural by protecting it with two coats of clear epoxy. This
will show the wood grain and the glue lines which is one of the attractive
features. It has an E (Epoxy) behind the model number.
The same model is available with four coats of white paint for
$ 230. (Model 4P)
The legs are stainless steel. Straight legs for easy moving, bend
legs for a more natural appearance. This is your choice.
