MEMORIAL PLAQUES |

I have done a few memorial plaques on commission. The
plaque is installed in the garden. People find it helps with the
grieving process. Oiling the wood now and then is an action of love for
the departed one.

| You may already know the inscription, and motif. Otherwise, in a few
words sum up what the person wanted to make out of life and enclose a
photograph. Then I can design a composition for your approval with a
price. In the above example, the wood is Kwilla. This is an Indonesian
hardwood, very hardy for outside use. The dimensions of the panel are
600x 400x 50 mm approximately. It has been laminated with waterproof
glue. It is mounted on an angle on a tanalised post one meter long for
burying in the ground. The example is $250 including freight in NZ. The
price depends on how elaborate the carving is to be. |
