It is a Four bedroom 2 bathroom home at the southern end of New Zealands Largest suburb, Karori. We saw the property advertised in the weekly property press and took a drive to see it. It was vacant and so we peered in the windows. The next day we got a real estate agent to show Lyndi through and we put a bid on that evening. Since it was vacant we offered a low price with a really early settlement, the fact that the vendor had been looking at renting it meant we were the only ones that put an offer in. So we got the price we wanted! which was well below the valuation. With our early settlement we were in our new house in less than 3 weeks. It has been a real blessing to have the extra room, both for having space for the boys and being able to entertain and have people come and stay. We had our first vistor with our dear friend John Garbett come and stay in our spare room and our first sleep over with the young women in our lounge for New Year.
We had a few problems at first negociating the driveway!
