Focus Group was formed in 1998 by
Gary Bridgman, who is Director and Principal consultant.
Gary had many years’ experience in the Telecommunications and Utility Industries in a wide variety of roles before focusing on Project Management consulting and education. With qualifications in engineering and commerce,
Gary has a perspective on projects which reaches from front line implementation to senior management to clients. Holding the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional credential,
Gary was President of PMI New Zealand (PMINZ) for 2005 and 2006.
Project consultancy work has included major software procurement, new business establishment, software development, production of business plans and securities documentation for public share offers, takeovers etc.
Gary has developed and lectured undergraduate and postgraduate papers in Project Management for
Lincoln University and develops and delivers Project Management training on behalf of other institutions and companies.
In addition to project and strategic business consultancy and advice, Focus Group is now offering professional education, either standardised courses or customised programmes in programme and project management directly to individuals, groups and organisations.
