Robbie came to pick me up from the ferry at 11:35 am
I hadn't seen Rob for a long time and at first glance I thought he'd gone bald, then I saw it was a crew-cut. It looks good on him!

We arrived at Tanya's at the same time as David, everyone else was already there. The weather was just right (for me) not too hot, not too cold. There was rain forecast but it looked like it might hold out for a while.

  



Bob. Rob, Corrie and me being smokers, Tanya thoughtfully set up the table outside with a big sunshade. Not that we needed shade, there was no sun.

Grub's up!
As per usual, there was plenty for all, but nothing was wasted!

 


Just as I pressed the button to take a nice view of the table and Bob and Tanya,
guess who steps up!

  


Then...had a nice view of Rob, Bob and Corrie ....
and David got in the way!

We all went outside to eat ... when it started to drizzle,
never mind, the big umbrella kept us dry.
Then Anita phoned and then,
just when I'd finished my second helping, Vanessa phoned!
It was so lovely to chat with you both!

Then, as we finished eating, the rain started coming down a little harder, so we moved inside where we continued our reminishing the 'good ol' days' and opened our presents.

Tanya had decorated her tree with (among other things) 2x $1 scratchies for us all. Someone (can't remember who) got a prize of $2 ha ha ha. (poor Tanya, it would have been nice if someone got something BIG!)

And then we all went home just as the heavens opened and we all got very wet!
