How my garden grows...

... From humble beginnings... 1999-2000.

I was planning to grow tomatoes and beans in the top two layers of the roundabout...

... a few years later... Whatever the reason, the roundabout refused to grow tomatoes and beans.
The corner is looking a bit sad and messy, don't you think?

... Until a garden fairy arrives... in the shape of... Anita!
Spilling blood sweat and tears, she designs a nicely contained corner garden

Getting rid of the -not so 'magic'- roundabout was a brilliant move!

and with the plants all together in one spot, the tedium of watering them every day in summer appears to be solved too.

A few weeks and a few dollars later and we have a beautiful, colourful feature garden!

Until it all turns to custard again!
Due to lack of rain and Ma forgetting to turn off the hose while yakking on the phone! CA 2005-06

Fast Forward to October 2007 when another garden fairy arrives... in the shape of . . . Vanessa!
After some more blood sweat and tears, the scene is set, now all it needs is some colour...

... and now with a more efficient watering system and plenty of water in the tank...

Ma's garden just grows, and grows...

... And grows!
