NBR NZ Opera Directed by Jonathon Cocker Costume design - Elizabeth Whiting
Elizabeth comments that the design revolves around colour themes for the costumes in each act. Yellow for Act I for the heat of the day, orange in Act II to evoke fire light, blue in Act II for the cold of the mountains and then red for Act IV with the bullfight and Carmens murder.
