If the faults are major an estimation of the costs are listed.
In relation to the many reports that we have done most buyers have received the report value back, or anything from 2 times to 100 times the value of the report after negotiation with the seller. In rare cases the sale has fallen through where there have been many faults which have not been taken in to consideration with regard to the asking price or the purchaser has placed too much value on the faults when the seller has already taken off the value of the faults to sell the property.
You can either negotiate a lower price or get the repairs carried out as part of the settlement.
Your Investment
The investment is Single Dwelling $350 including GST in the city areas. In Flats $350 for the first one and $100 each unit there after. The inspection is carried out the next day after the call and the report is sent before the end of the next day.
The report can be faxed, emailed, and posted. A listing of the costs associated with the major faults is included.

Things You can do now for Free
- Talk to the neighbours - is there a dispute of problem they have seen with the property.
- Talk to the tenants - are they happy with the property. Does any thing need fixing.
- Go to the Local Authority and ask to see the property folder for this address.
