You've got the world's weight on your shoulders
You feel that you have to carry the burden
And you blame everyone else for all that you do
And you blame everyone else for all that you feel
So you've got a frown on your face
And you've got a stooped gait
From all the ground gazing

You carry the weight of your past on your shoulders
You feel that your history is the burden
And you blame your history for all that you do
And you blame those who've hurt you for all that you feel
So you've got an unhappy face
And you've got a sore back
From being the doormat

Just realize that you don't have to carry all of this
Just realize that it's not a burden and shouldn't be
Don't blame all of this for your actions
Don't blame all of this for your feelings
Remember that you're loved so smile
Straighten up and stand tall
Look directly ahead and don't look down
