On the way to Whangarei    At Whangarei Falls   
This is our sandsculpture, Myrtle the Turtle    We used a real spade (TM) to make her. To be more specific, Mike did all the spading, and I worked on the details ;)   
At the Telecom satellite station on the way back to Auckland    Too busy smooching to look at the view!    Atop Mt Maunganui   
At Whangarei Falls    Mt Maunganui is a nice beach, as long as you keep an eye out for the broken glass            It was very very very hot, and sadly the bottle of 'water' was still solid ice
