Terrain

I've been building some new terrain. Here are a few pictures.

1. Roads

These are made out of car inner tubes! Cut into 5cm wide stripes and then covered with a flexible filler (Selley's no More Gaps), a toothpick is used to put ruts into the surface and then a layer of sand sprinkled on top. Once dried it is painted. Quick, easy and makes for very flexible terrain.

Another view of the roads- note how the road goes up the hill in the background.

2. Bocage

This bocage is made out of scouring brushes, which are glued onto half round dowels and then covered in Woodlands Scenics course turf. It's quick and easy to make.

I use a mixture of pre-made fields and sections of bocage.
