Dog

Butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth

I look so cute and cuddly and stuff

so if you're really going to smack my nose

I'd better try to call your bluff.

Didn’t mean to eat your shoes

teething is part of growing up

get out of bed when I decide

master of the house is up.

Cats are fun to chase and chew

I like the noise they make

looking like something the dog dragged in

claws will tell you how much they can take

Centre of attention that’s me

if not, why not, listen to my bark

forget all that bonking nonsense

what do the neighbours prefer ?

Collars, walks well that’s for dogs

a drag is more my style

I’ll make everybody laugh and laugh

as ten yards turns to ten miles

When I’m old I will just sleep and eat

may get up and run around from time to time

Blame your farts on me

Cause it’s a dogs life, of crime.
