Pictures of the Mind.

This story is in three parts, spanning the 1960’s to the 1990’s, and back.

Danny and Tommy are brothers. Devoted to each other, they are very different. Tommy is a sensitive artist whilst Danny is a small time crook, with a penchant for violence.

Trouble comes in the shape of Maddie, a nurse, who they both fall for. That would be difficult enough, but Maddie is betrothed to a bent policeman, who happens to have a grudge against Danny. When she falls pregnant, and Danny gets caught in a bungled art theft, something has to give. The stolen painting vanishes, as do one of the brothers, along with Maddie.

Thirty years later, Matt, a photographer is distraught when his lover and young daughter disappear. All he is left with is a note that says if he wants his daughter back, he had better find the painting that his Uncle Danny stole. Matt knows nothing about a painting and his Uncle Danny is in prison.   When Matt goes to see him, he starts to suspect that there is more than one picture on his mind.

Going back in time to find out what really happened that night thirty years ago, is the only way that Matt will get his daughter back. When all debts are paid, he finds that brotherly love is priceless.
