Hello,

Now that the engagement party is over the wedding planning will begin in earnest.

There are just a few things to still do, I'm working through the engagement party thank you's (should be sent out next week), and I've ordered some photos to put in an album. I also want to put all the beautiful engagement greeting cards into some kind of display album.

Engagement announcements have appeared in Michaels work newsletter and in the ACT wgtn central newsletter.

Michael and Penny accompanied me along to a bridal evening at Thorndon Brides recently. It was an interesting night. I managed to win a door prize of an ivory garter. It'll be perfect for me to add the little snips of tartan on to.

After the success of our party we are rethinking the format of our wedding. Michael cam eup with a very good idea, which would run like this:

I like this idea. I think it has a lot of merit because I know that our family members are not into partying and dancing, and also, we want to have some formal and some informal parts to the events. We have to spend some more time researching now!

I've received some "save the date" magents from Vistaprint now: I've also bought postage stamps for the invites. NZ Post has some nice ones for a change!

There are heaps of other things to decide and book....we'll keep you up to date!

Love,

Chaucey
