Ron has been invited to give an organ recital as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations at Waitaki Boys' High School in July.  The programme will  feature the music of Douglas Lilburn and the poetry Charles Brasch, both old boys.  Special permission has been given by the Alexander Turnbull Trust to transcribe Lilburn's Overture:Aotearoa for the occasion.

Timothy Matthias was born at Timaru Hospital February 13th.  His weight, wind pressure, and voicing are improving remarkably.

The Easter tunings proceeded as per usual, Joe returning once more from Scotland to take his place at the keys.  We dismantled the little Croft continuo organ in St. Paul's Lutheran church in Newtown, and took it back to the workshop at the end of the tour where it will be overhauled and altered in preparation for use at St. Paul's Cathedral, Dunedin.  The movement of the Grady/Croft organ from Sacred Heart Cathedral in Wellington into storage was also completed.

We have been given the contract to overhaul  the soundboard of the 1875 Walker pipe organ in Mornington Methodist church, following water damage, to be undertaken in the Spring.  Recently acquired tunings include churches in Tauranga, Epsom, Mt Albert and Three Kings.
