Rimu Dining Table
This project was to build a 1.5m square dining table, using recycled
Rimu. To go with this we are also building a set of eight chairs.
The table legs are 80mm square posts, and the side rails are lengths of
70x30mm material.
The table top is made in two pieces, a frame 1500mm to a side, with
mitred corners, and a panel, made from recycled floorboards. The panel
sits in a rebate that is cut all the way around the inside edge of the
frame.
