Painted
the same week as my wedding, for the opening of the Tattoo Museum in Wellington.
I don't know if it's on display, or hidden away in a dark corner somewhere,
as I haven't been yet. This was a very fast job, as I was in the midst of sewing
one half of my wedding dress and designing the other - honestly, if I had to
do it again I'd just buy the damned thing. But anyway, this is a Crying Freeman
model, chosen for his great big tattoo, which thankfully was in the sculpt.
His pants are too shiny but the skin came out ok. It was my first large scale
kit and the horrible thing was all warped - lots of warming, bending and putty
to get it paintable.
