ALANS RACHELS PAINTING 40K FANTASY OTHER ASSOCIATES LINKS

An old, out-of-production chaos sorceror, painted in 2000. This was the first time I'd tried highlighting metal, and in fact I believe it was the first time I mixed a 'non-standard' colour (the bluey colour on the staff and hair). There is a really neat, really faint, and really accidental paint effect on the little purple gem in the middle of his belt, which looks kinda like that marbled paper kids make as craft projects in primary school. For the life of me I can't remember how it happened, but I think two very different colours of very wet paints were involved, mingling together on the pallette. I think. This figure was sold in early 2003 after I gave up any idea of ever doing a slaaneshi fantasy army in this colour scheme - it would look great, but I'm too busy painting other people's stuff and finishing my degree at Uni.
