Part One: 4000-year Calendar The ancient 360 day-year of the bible  is shown to be as accurate as our modern calendar  when regulated by simple biblical cycles of 40 and 4000 years!   Part Two: Eternal Calendar Out 1 day every 5 trillion years; and also accurate forever!     Part One Page 1 It is commonly supposed that the ancient 360-day calendar is hopelessly inaccurate. After all, has not modern science shown the number of days in a year to be 365.2422 days, and not 360? However, such reasoning lacks understanding as to how all calendars work. All calendars insert leap-days or leap-months to nudge the 'normal' year closer to the exact 365.2422 year, otherwise before long the months on the calendar would be out of synchronization with the seasons of the year. (This was a big problem in the ancient world.) For instance: In our modern calendar, a 'normal' year has 365 days, with every 4th year having 366 days. In the modern Hebrew calendar, a 'normal' year has 354 days, but upon every 2 or 3 years a leap month is added with 384 days in that year. Likewise, the 'normal' 360-day year of the Prophetic Calendar adds a 30-day leap month at regular intervals, with that year having 390 days. All three of these calendars are about the same in accuracy over relatively short periods of time. However, the 360 Prophetic Calendar soon shows itself wonderfully supreme in every way, as it spans and divides time into biblical generations of 40 and 100 years, and biblical ages of 4,000 and 100,000 years; with the biblical principle of a 7th-day rest woven throughout. Moreover, the constant use of multiples of 360 years in keeping with 360 days enforces the biblical concepts that, "a day is as a year," and also, "a thousand years is as a day."    Two parts to this study: The first series of articles will show the 360-day calendar to be at least as simple and as accurate as is our modern (Gregorian) calendar. This can be established with absolute certainty and ease. However, in the second part of our discussion we will demonstrate how that the 360-day calendar is perfectly and marvelously exact.  We intend to place our feet on ground common to all calendar enthusiasts in the first series of articles. Nothing will be presented there that does not employ normative procedures when making a calendar since we will restrict ourselves to the commonly accepted 365.2422 days in a mean solar year. (Scientists insist that accuracy beyond this level is irrelevant to any calendar because of the slowly shortening solar year over the ages.) Nevertheless, we will venture into the prophetic element in the second part of our investigation by increasing our precision. We will show that the average solar year precisely measured as on Y2K (Jan. 1, 2000) was indirectly predicted by the bible, and that it is the key that unravels the remaining features of this most remarkable calendar. Both calendars are derived from the exact solar year of 365.2421896698 days as if forever unchanging on Y2K. Remember that the purpose of the calendar is to create symbolic patterns descriptive of the soon-coming eternal reign of Jesus the Messiah; it is not a calendar to live by.

The difference between the "4000 Calendar" and the "3860 Calendar:"

The basic 40-year pattern remains intact for all 3 calendars. The difference lies in the next step. Rather than a leap-month omission upon every 100 cycles of 40 years, (i.e., every 4000 years), the leap month omission occurs instead upon every 96 cycles of the 40-year cycle, (i.e., every 3840 years). This subsequently causes slight (but meaningful) alterations to the rest of the calendar. The number '3840 years' does not have the immediate resemblance of a biblical unit as does '4000' years; but, '3840' is very much a biblical number. For example, '3840' amounts to '480¹ x 8 years', and also '1260 + 1290 + 1290 years,' (1Kgs. 6:1, Dan. 12:11, Rev. 11:3; 12:6).

The said '3840 cycle' (40 x 96) is further adjusted by a 60-squared cycle (3600), and then a 80-squared cycle (6400) to produce an array of staggeringly complex biblical patterns, while at the same time producing a calendar more accurate than a modern atomic clock! This means that the last 2 cycles (3600 and 6400) are 4800 squared, agreeing with its base cycle of 3840 (40 x 96), which amounts to 480 x 8  years! (That is, the last two cycles, 3600 x 6400 [23,040,000], are divisible by the first two cycles of 40 x 96 [3860].) It is easy to see how that these numbers are ideally suited to produce an array of complex biblical numbers. Moreover, both calendars are saturated with square-root figures, and this includes the interrelationships of the two calendars.

Note the consistent and balanced addition and subtraction of the leap months. 

The above two calendar adjustment methodologies are basically the same, with multiples of 3600 years particularly noticeable. (For instance, aside from the obvious "3600" of the second line of the above table [i.e., 96 x 3600 x 6400], 24 x 150, and 150 x 24 [i.e., 24 x 150 x 24] are also 3600). For 3600 years to appear as the most prevalent multiple in the 360-day calendar is truly most remarkable! Recall that the basic 40 year-cycle is also composed of 6 x 6 [6²] = 36, + 4 = 40 years! Moreover, since 40 years is a 'generation' in the bible, this means that there are 360,000 'generations' until the second last cycle of the 4000 calendar! {I.e., [6² + 4] = 40 years, [a 'generation'], times 360,000 [100 x 24 x 150].)

Note the final cycle of the 40 x 100 {4000} calendar occurs after 345,600,000 years [40 x 100 x 24 x 150 x 24}, and the final cycle of the 40 x 96 {3840} calendar after 88,473,600,000 years, [40 x 96 x 3600 x 6400]. This means that the last cycle of the first calendar will intersect the last cycle of the second calendar after another 256 cycles. [345,600,000 times 256 = 88,473,600,000 years.] In other words, the last cycle of the 3840-calendar is 256 times greater than the last cycle of the 4000-year calendar. Now it happens that the square of '256' is '16', which in turn is the square of '4', which is also the square of '2'. Hence, '256' is a very versatile and meaningful number again giving evidence of design. Many other such comparisons can be sited, but that shall be left to your own discovery.

Again, note the consistent and balanced addition and subtraction of the leap months. This means that the 40-year cycles never lack more than one of its 7 regular leap months. Also, the calendar begins and ends with a normal 40-year cycle. Hence, the calendar is symmetrical from beginning to end! Note that 4000 (of the "4000-calendars") times 3840 (of the "3840 calendar") equals 15,360,000, which is 1/10,000,000th of the final 156.6 trillion cycle. Hence, all three calendars converge at this juncture, including the 100,000 cycle.   How big is 153.6 trillion years? The so called 'big bang' creation of the universe believed by most scientists (though without warrant) was only 14.5 billion years ago; hence, the last cycle of the eternal calendar stretches into the future more than 10,000-times that of the supposed big-bang of the past!  While there are no more calendar adjustments to be made, yet other numeric patterns extend still further into time. For instance, the 9th cycle of 153.6 trillion is divisible by all other cycles of all 3 calendars. For instance 9 x 153.6 trillion is 125-squared the 88,473,600,000 cycle, 2000-squared the 345,600,000, 10,000-squared (108) the 13,824,000, and 120,000 squared the 96,000 cycle; and it is also 360,000,000 times the 3840 cycle, etc.

Square-Root Figures

The above chart contains many square-root figures---a consistent feature of the 360 calendar. Some examples, such as 60 and 80 (= 4,800) squared, are very obvious. Note also, for instance, that whereas the first two cycles amounts to 3840 years (40 x 96), the last two cycles (3600 and 6400) amount to 3840 times 6000! Hence, the final cycle of 88,473,600,000-years is also 3840 squared times 6000! 

Other examples: 

The final cycle of 88,473,600,000-years would contain 31,850,496,000,000 days in it if employing an unadjusted 360-day year. (We are using the round 360-year here, rather than the exact 365.2421896698 solar year that instead raises the final tally to be 32,314,291,391,970 days, as looked at earlier in this page. The comparison of on-going non-adjusted 360-day years with that of 'normal' adjusted years [i.e., cycles having leap months] are an important aspect of our calendar study). 

This final tally of 31,850,496,000,000 days, (i.e., tallied with no leap-months inserted), equals an even 240^7 minutes; or, 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 x 240 minutes exactly! (Or, if one prefers, 240^6 Hebrew watches; the day was divided into 6 equals parts called "watches".) The '240' has much the same meaning as the '480' does. The '480' is simply half the '240.' 

It is evident that '480' is intended to be divided in half, just as other certain numbers in the bible are. For instance, whereas 480 years accumulates leap months totaling ' 1260 + 1260 days', or ' 84 months', or ' 7 years', so the '240' accumulates half that, or 1260 days, or 42 months, or 3½-years. The bible likewise divides these three units in half, (i.e., 1260 x 2 days, 84 months, and 7 years; Dan. 9:25-27, Rev. 11:1-2, etc.). Moreover, 480 can equal 12 "generations" of 40 years (one for each tribe in Israel, cf., 1Kgs. 6:1), and thus once again, '240' is half that much! To summarize then, what 3½-years is to 7 years, so likewise 240 years is to 480 years. Therefore, to have the final tally of days to equal 240^7 is quite amazing. Note too, that the number 'seven' in the bible (of 240^seven) symbolizes completion.

 

The following is the companion 4000-year calendar for comparison. The basic 40-year unit is the same in both calendars. Compare the two companion calendars for other square-root factors that exist between one cycle in the one calendar with another cycle in the other calendar table. For example, the 96,000-cycle is 25 times more than the 3840-cycle; twenty-five is five squared.

Final note:

Since the Exodus (1446 BC) is one of the natural starting points for both the 4000 and the 3840 prophetic calendars, therefore, note the significance of how many years/generations (of 40 years) to Christ's conception/birth from the exodus, and then again until the end of each of the two said calendar cycles. (The Exodus is the datum in early post-exodus history.) In a unique way, Christ is at the center of both of the first major cycles of each calendar system.

1446 BC (Exodus) till Christ's birth in 6 BC are 1440 years; which is 480 x 3, or 360 x 4 years, or 6-squared generations. (4000 years is 10-squared generations)

1446 BC + 4000 years (calendar cycle) = AD 2555, (= seven x 365 to 1 BC, or 8-squared generations from 6 BC; and note 1260 + 1290 and 1260+ 1260 years from AD 5 and AD 25.)

1446 BC + 3840 (calendar cycle) = AD 2395,  (2400 [60 gen.], or 2401 [ 7 x 7 x 7 x 7 in 7 BC ] years from the birth of Christ, which is a jubilee---49 years---squared!)

Note, from the Exodus till AD 25 are 490 x 3 years, or 30 jubilees ending on His 30th birthday. He began His ministry the next year. (The jubilees began one year after the exodus when the Israelites were told (but refused) to enter the Promised Land. Instead they wandered 40 years in the wilderness, having just spent "400 years" in Egypt." More can be said, but this is sufficient.)

Endnotes:

1. The '480 years' is the standard unit wherein 1260 x 2 days, or 84 months of 30 days of leap-months, are accumulated. These are biblical numbers. 

(Note that Y2K, i.e., Jan. 1, AD 2000, was the 12th cycle of 480 years from the creation according to Jewish chronology. Hence, since each 480-year period has 12 generations of 40 years; therefore, Y2K was the 144th generation, (Rev. 7:4, cf., 8:1), which significantly, is 12 generations squared! See Why Y2K?}

Moreover, 3840 years equals 1260 + 1290 + 1290 years---also biblical numbers. We cannot go into their patterns now; but, suffice to say, what we have here are years intersecting days of same unit value---while simultaneously complementing its companion calendar---a very complex clock indeed! The main purpose of this 96-generational cycle calendar (i.e., 96 times 40-year calendar) is to bring out the importance of the familiar 7-day and year cycles of the bible. (Both 1260 and 1290 days are half of a 7-year period, etc.)

Moreover, the actual total tally of days [32,314,291,391,970 days] of the 40 x 96 (3840) calendar is divisible by 70 x 7 {490 days}, and also by '21-squared months' {13,230 days}. Again, these numbers can be shown to be biblical numbers of great importance; moreover, they are numbers used in association with time-keeping in the bible. (Go back.) 

Similarly, the final total tally of days with the special 40-billionth cycle of the 3840-cycle comes to 56,101,200,333,281,250 days, plus the extra month of 30 days equals 56,101,200,333,281,280 days. 56,101,200,333,281,250 is also divisible by 490 (70 x 7).

A few technical notes:

• New-years day of Nisan (Abib) 1st (morning) of the 360 calendar landed on March 10, 1446 BC (Gregorian calendar, but which was March 23 Julian). (March 10th on the conventional Jewish calendar that year was about Adar 12.) The Julian day # is 1193352. (That day, therefore, symbolized as AD 1 as explained later.) 
   

• [Of lesser importance: there is also a possible plus-30-day position (April 9, 1446 BC) due to the intercalary leap month positions of the two types of leap-month regulated cycles, that is, the overlapping 3840 and the 4000-year cycles.] 
  
  The 3840-year cycle 'began' 30 years after they entered Egypt, which was 400 years (146100 days) before the exodus and 1260 years (460200 days) before the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC. Thus the 3840-year cycle began March 7 (Gregorian)1846 BC, (Julian day # 1047252). (It appears that the complimentary 4000-year cycle 'began' 2006 BC at the birth of Jacob, but that is conjecture. When we say that the cycle "began on such and such a date" we mean that the cycle merely landed upon that year along its ongoing cycles.
   

• This means that March 6, AD 1995, began the next cycle (Julian # 2449782), which means that that year normally would have had a leap month ending April 4, but it was omitted due to the 3840-year (and 4000-year) cycle. This also means that March 6, 1995 also symbolized as AD 1. That year was also 1290 x 2 years (430 x 6) after the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC, (Dan. 12).
   

• You may find it interesting that the great tsunami that killed 300,000 on Dec. 26, 2004 was 1,260,000 days (Rev. 12) from Nisan 14 (360-calendar) of the Passover of the Exodus, and eve of the 10th plague upon Egypt. Click here for more on that.
