Australasian HarrierBarrows Bearhawk & Bearhawk Patrol

Specification and performance

I present the data I have access to.  As more builders complete their Bearhawks it should become possible to present a series of performance figures relevant to the many different engine options.  There has already been some interesting variance in the complete aircraft weight mostly as the result of varied fittings of radios, other electronics, fuel tanks etc.  If you have data you wish to share please email me and I can update the ranges below.

To get a real idea of how this plane really flies check out Budd Davissons PIREP's at Airbum.  There are reports on both 180 hp prototype I and the 260 hp model.
