"Jessie-dog" passed away during the week before Christmas 2006. ; She belonged to my Grandma Lu and they crossed the Rainbow Bridge together in October 2008.
Jess started out life as a farm dog but at an early age showed that she really didn't have the aptitude to be a working dog. That was how my Mum acquired her - the farmer was selling Jess (then named Kate) because she wouldn't work properly. Quite honestly, I think it had a lot to do with how the farmer treated her but we won't go there...
