Feline World Federation

This page has been developed as a result of the seemingly overwhelming number of acronyms used by the regular visitors on the stuffonmycat.com website.  I hope that it will give some clarification to the newcomers to SOMC of what they all mean (and help the rest of us keep track of them all).

The Feline World Federation has become the umbrella title of the factions which have developed from the fantastic imaginations of the SOMC regulars.  Long before this title came into use it was known as the DJC/TKO Wars (and still is) as these were the two original factions that started it all.  In recent times, however, more factions have developed as others have sought to join in the fun and have created groups to recognise other types of kitties other than the black & white cats wearing a jacket/tuxedo, which started it all.

ACK
Association of Cow Kitties This Association also has a subgroup, FACK (Friends of the ACK), which is open to all types of kitties.

AIM
Advance Infiltration and Mayhem team A unit of the DJC brigade.
AWE
Arctic Warfare and Explorers unit Another unit of the DJC brigade.  Made up of DJCs with superfloofy fur and moose-feets.
BCB
Black Cats Brigade Affiliated to the TKO.  Based in a secret hideout by the lake in Indiana.

CCC
Coalition for Calico Cats
Cat types co-opted: calico (tri-colour).  Reference of Origin: 2006-10-09; Butch & Cleo.
CHUNK
Cuddly, Huge, Undeniably Needy Kitties CHUNK cats are neutral choosing to eat and snuggle rather than fight.
Cat types co-opted: fat, sassy momma's boys/girls.  Reference of Origin: 2007-09-29; Leroi Fabulous (first mention of).
CIA
Cat Interactive Anarchists A mysterious outside influence.
COUGH
Cats of Uniformly Grey Hair For the moment COUGH are officially neutral.

DJC
Dinner Jacket Cat Opposing faction to the TKO.  The DJC brigade is primarily British.
Cat types co-opted: primarily black with white bibs and white feet (although other colours have been accepted as long as they have white bibs and feet).  Reference of Origin: 2005-09-25; Frankie.
GTOSC
Gymnasticat's Troup of Siamese Cats Before this day Gymnasticat’s collection of Siamese cats lacked a name but has already been growing steadily in numbers for some time.  At this stage the name may change yet.

IO-PACK
International Order of Peaches and Cream Kitties The IO-PACK is a royal guard and is neutral.  Headquarters is the Fortress of Nipp.

Plain Tabby Cats Affiliated to the TKO.

Orange Cat Unit Affiliated to the DJC.

Squishy Face Association

Siamese Ninja Corps The SNC are exclusive mercenaries with exorbitant fees (large amounts of catnip, of course).

Stunning Spotted Cats Neutral.

TKO
Tuxedo Kitty Outfit / Total Knock-Out Opposing faction to the DJC brigade.  The TKO is primarily American.

Tabby on Back and White Accessories

The Territorial Torties Affiliated to the DJC brigade.

UCB
Unit Calico Buffalo Affiliated to the DJC brigade.  Based in Buffalo.

Unit Cloud Cats The UCC started off as neutral fighters for peace but is now a subsidiary group of the UCB.
