As the manager of Barracuda Boats I have striven to put a safe, user friendly, well manufactured hand laid boat on the market. All equipment, e.g. deck gear, upholstery, outboard, battery and leads, steering gear and wheel, gas tank, trailer and tyres, windows, seats and swivels, rod holders, fibreglass and resin products, right down to the teak on the deck to the sign writing materials used, even the drain plug, go through my own personal rigorous tests. The materials used are always of the highest grade available on the market today regardless of the cost. The labour cost that goes into the manufacturing of my product is also seen as irrelevant. In my opinion as soon as you start looking at the hours spent on a project, you start compromising the quality of the product.
