On 5 November 1898, the 35ft cutter Mawhiti was launched in Wellington, New Zealand.
This followed several years of design and construction by, amongst several others, my grandfather, William Moore.
In 1907-08 she was shipped to Sydney, Australia, where she has sailed succesfully for many years.

to help seek further information about her history, current
