PCA (Personal Computer Assistant)
Last updated on 26th October 2002

It's only got a couple of features but gives a taste of what's to come in the full version. You can download a copy below. Just unzip the file and double click the PCA.exe file to start it. Right click anywhere for the options or click the options button. Unfortunately I've only been able to test this on Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000. It should run on Windows NT, 98 or ME, if it doesn't or you experience any anomalies please let me know, I'm happy to fix any bugs :) If you'd like to see some new features in the full version email me, I'd be glad for any external input.

Features:

- Real time display of physical, virtual and pagefile memory status.
- Displays the number of active processes and threads.
- Provides information on the CPU. Speed, vendor and type.
- Functionality to free blocks of RAM. From 8 to 512MB.
- Transparency for Windows 2000, XP. (80% fixed limit).

Upcoming Features:

- CPU usage.
- Drive information. Size, type, total/available space.
- Network status. Internet connection, traffic sent/received.
- User and system information.
- Plus heaps more.
