Home Carolyn Andy Peter Farmstay Pond Contacts

In March 2004 Carolyn and Andy received an environment enhancement fund from the government to subsidise work on a small wild-life sanctuary for birds on their farm. Work began in autumn 2004 with bulldozing improvements to a pond created several years earlier. During the winter this area was fenced to exclude stock and in the spring spraying, planting and mulching began. Native trees and plants are planted and maintained to encourage wild-life to breed there.
