Okuku Farm, a sheep and cattle farm of 203 hectares, is in the Okuku district of North Canterbury, and is registered with a help exchange programme.
Carolyn and Andy are developing a farm pond into a wild-life sanctuary for birds. Carolyn periodically needs help with planting native trees and grasses, repotting native seedlings, spraying, mulching, watering, weeding and general farm chores.
They offer free accommodation and meals in their family home in exchange for approximately 4 hours work per day.
Transport can be arranged from Christchurch.
